2012 River Regatta
Posted on August 16th, 2012 by Around The RiverThe River Regatta is an annual event that takes place on the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona. An estimated 24,000 participants floated the nine mile course from Davis Camp and to Rotary Park. Some stopped along the way to picnic and party at Big Bend of the Colorado Park, or continued their float another 10 miles to the Avi Hotel & Casino.
Riverfront houses in Arizona displayed American flags in support of this year’s theme, True To The Red, White and Blue. Many floats were also decorated with the patriotic theme in mind.
We at Around The River Publishing, Inc. are proud to capture the excitement of the Regatta through photos and video, and to share them with you.
Be sure to look for the Around The River Real Estate magazine® in displays throughout the Inland Empire of Southern California, as well as in the Tri-State Area of Nevada, Arizona and California. You can also view our Virtual Magazine online, or subscribe at AroundTheRiver.com
